JaBack is a backup application based on Java that allows you to create compressed zip archives with files and folders you backup. JaBack also creates automatic backups with a support for dynamic variables which you can use in the files names and output paths. Among the backup options available you can store backups to local folders, a remote FTPM server and emailing zipped backup file. Backups can be schedules on an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly basis and also chain tasks to be run in sequence or conditionally depending on exit codes.
Using JaBack comes with a learning curve and can be very useful once the features and functionality become familiar because the majority if backup tasks were not simple to execute.
