SQLBackupAndFTP Free has less features to it paid for counterpart but allows you to make backups of yourbSQL Servee databases and have them saved to a local disk drive, network drive uploaded to an FTP server. Backups can be run by scheduling automatic daily execution or running them manually. SQlBackup runs works best when installed on the SQL Server but it’s support for remote backups allows otherwise. This can be done using scripts but this is in it testing phase.
Email notifications and support for SQL scripts are optional and can be run before or after the backup process. Additional features are disabled in the free version as well as you are limited to two (2) scheduled backup jobs.
